"EX LIBRIS" CARRE HERMES VINTAGE
« EX LIBRIS » Ce beau carré Hermès créé en 1946 par l’illustrateur Hugo Grygkar pour la Maison Hermes est une première édition qui ne comporte pas de copyright. En twill de soie aux bords roulottés main, ce beau foulard aux bordures jaunes et au liseré bleu marine sur fond ivoire se déclinent de beaux fiacres, calèches et cabriolets dans les tons de bleu marine. Réédité en 1998, 2004,et 2007 ce foulard rare et recherché pour son année fait partie des intemporels des amateurs, collectionneurs et décorateurs avisés. L’EX LIBRIS nommé ici, nom latin signifiant « faisant partie de mes livres » a été créé par Emile Maurice Hermès pour sa bibliothèque personnelle, il a fait figurer ce dessin ensuite sur les boites et emballages de son entreprise, il a été repris par Hugo Grykar au centre de ce carré. Ce beau foulard de plus de 70 ans est en bel état de conservation et d’usage, malgré deux petits fils tirés pratiquement invisibles (voir photos). Le prix tiendra compte de cette imperfection. Ni trou ni tache cependant malgré son grand âge.

The EX LIBRIS named here, Latin name meaning «part of my books» was created by Emile Maurice Hermès for his personal library, he then included this drawing on the boxes and packaging of his company, it was taken over by Hugo Grykar in the center of this square. This beautiful scarf of more than 70 years is in good condition of conservation and use, despite two little threads drawn practically invisible (see photos). The price will take into account this imperfection. Neither hole nor stain despite its age.
